New Delhi: Another housing scam has been unearthed in Mumbai. And caught in the centre of it is PWD Minister Chhagan Bhujbal's Mumbai Educational Trust.

The Assistant Charity Commissioner has ordered an inspection of two floors of the MET building, which will be carried out on Saturday.

This after MET Vice-Chairman Sunil Karve alleged that the space was being misused by Bhujbal's daughter to run a furniture store.

Karve has also alleged misappropriation of Rs 177 crores by the trust. This comes a day after a leaked CAG report also accused Bhujbal of allotting land to the MET for a pittance.

The report says that out of a 91,300 sq m plot in Govardhan taluka in Nashik, 41,300 sq m was initially allotted to the MET after changing the purpose of reservation from mining activity to educational purpose at occupancy price of Rs 1.55 lakh.
