Another member of fraud gang held

HYDERABAD: Another member of a fraud gang which duped several unemployed youngsters in the name of providing jobs and loans under ‘Pavala Vaddi' government scheme was arrested by the Central Crime Station sleuths on Friday.The gang led by P Sandhya Rani duped several youngsters to the tune of Rs 84 lakh on the pretext of proving them jobs and loans. Sandhya Rani and some others were arrested earlier. The CCS sleuths arrested another member of the gand R Vijayalakshmi on Friday, who was on the run. Deputy commissioner of police J Satyanarayana said Vijayalakshmi used to pose as the AP State Mahila president of a nationalist party and duped the youngsters.Earlier, seven cases have been registered against the fraudsters at Mahankali, Gopalpuram, Market, Sultan Bazar, Begumpet and Gopalpuram police stations and all the cases have been transferred to the CCS later.
