Mumbai: A case has been registered against two men who allegedly raped a 24-year-old woman whom they had lured under the pretext of giving a job as an airhostess, police said on Thursday.
According to police, the woman works in a hotel in suburban Juhu and was called by the duo to a suburban mall on Wednesday with the promise of being given a job as an airhostess in a private airline.
The three met at the mall and consumed liquor, after which the woman was allegedly taken to a location near the mall and raped, police said.
The two men are absconding.
The victim filed a complaint at Khar police station as she stays in that area.
The case was on Thursday transferred to the police station in Malwani, where the incident occurred.
The woman has undergone a medical examination and its results are awaited, police said.
