Australian govt invites Indian community for talks
A series of appeasement measures have been taken by the Oz govt.

New Delhi: Concerned with growing criticism in the Indian community over racist attacks, Australia’s New South Wales government will meet Indian leaders on Friday June 5, 2007 to discuss safety issues.

This will be the latest in a series of appeasement measures taken by the Australian administration.

Indian students held a massive rally in Melbourne last Sunday protesting against the attacks.

About 20,000 Indian students study in New South Wales alone, pumping over 5.3 million dollars into the state's economy.

What's your reaction?
