HYDERABAD: Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu spent the whole Sunday preparing for the debate on notrust motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government scheduled for Monday. After spending only one hour in his chambers in the Assembly, the TDP chief went home. Sources said Naidu was busy preparing his speech and compiling the backup information to prove that the Congress government had neglected the welfare of farmers in the state.
The rampant corruption in the Congress regime is likely to figure in his speech. Though the Assembly discussed drought and farmers' woes, Naidu did not participate in it. Instead, he wanted TDP leaders E Dayakar Rao, Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu, D Narendra and Palle Raghunatha Reddy to highlight the plight of droughthit farmers in the debate.
