THANJAVUR: The District Court here on Monday denied bail to Natarajan, husband of Sasikala, and Divaharan who were charged with quarrying sand and grabbing land. Natarajan is facing several land grab charges against him in Thanjavur, including the Mullivaikal memorial construction. Sakunthala of Tamil Nagar lodged a complaint with TMCH police against Natarajan for allegedly grabbing her land. Natarajan moved a bail plea. But the court dismissed it.Divaharan, brother of Sasikala, moved a bail plea in the dist court in the illegal sand quarrying case. His bail plea was also rejected.
