Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir BJP objected to the "Kashmir Million March" being organised in London by Pakistan sponsored leaders on October 26.

The march coincides with the day when the then ruler of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir Maharaja Hari Singh signed the historic Instrument of Accession of the state with the Union of India.

BJP state spokespersons Sunil Sethi and Balbir Ram Rattan in a press statement, today called upon people of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate the day to give a befitting reply to the "anti nationals and the divisive forces".

"The state has suffered a lot in the past because of concerted efforts of divisive and separatist politics which has created impediment and blocked the progress and prosperity of the state," Balbir Ram Rattan said.

"The state stands to gain a lot by being part of national mainstream. The efforts of Pakistan and its supporters to vitiate peaceful atmosphere in the state, which has been gained at heavy cost of sacrifices by security forces, police and public, will never be allowed to succeed by the people of Jammu and Kashmir," Sunil Sethi said.
