Botcha asks Naidu to reveal TDP names

HYDERABAD: PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana on Wednesday lashed out at TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for raking up the issue of illegal liquor business in the state as if there was no other important issue to talk about.“He is obsessed with liquor syndicates and does not talk about any other problem that the people are facing,” Satyanaryana said. “There are issues like farmers’ problems, drought and release of funds under SC sub-plan but Naidu does not see any of them,” he said.He said Chandrababu Naidu is unfit to continue as Opposition leader since he has failed discharge the duties of one.  “The state’s misfortune to have him as the Opposition leader,” he said.He demanded Chandrababu Naidu to reveal the names of his party MLAs and leaders involved in liquor scam. Botcha said if Naidu fails to reveal the names in three days he would reveal them. He advised the TDP leaders to get a copy of the ACB report under Right to Information Act instead of creating a scene in the Assembly.Asked for his comment on speculation that he might be replaced with a Telangana leader, he said he would not mind resigning as PCC president to make way for another leader. “I will be very happy if my resignation helps Telangana cause,” he said.
