Hong Kong: Coco and Toto's marriage is sure to go to the dogs.
These Hong Kong cocker spaniels were one of nine love-struck canine couples that tied the knot at a Hong Kong shopping mall on the eve of Valentine's Day.
Bells tolled as the eighteen dogs, decked in full wedding regalia, walked the aisle at a shopping mall in Causeway Bay, the city's busiest shopping neighbourhood.
Bride and groom exchanged "wedding chokers" as tokens of affection and marriage certificates were sealed with paw prints.
The dogs were selected from a long list of applicants, and all funds raised from the ceremony went to an animal charity.
"Organising weddings for pets has become very popular in UK and US recently," said Fiona Chung Sau-lin, a deputy general manager at Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Ltd which runs the mall.
“(The wedding) brings this concept to Hong Kong,” Sau-lin added.
