Lauding efforts made by the minority educational institutes in spreading education in the state, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday assured them that his government would make efforts in finding solutions to whatever problems they have.
"The way you (minority educational institutions) have been spreading education from remote rural to urban areas is worthy for praise as education alone can remove backwardness," Soren, according to a state government press release.
Addressing a function here in Ranchi, he said that development of a state was not possible without literacy and "unfortunately Jharkhand, despite having enormous natural riches, lagged behind in education."
Soren said he would meet representatives of the minority educational institutes after the winter session of the assembly to address their problems.
