JAIPUR: Tension gripped Binjharpur block after BJD workers allegedly attacked as many as 15 Congress activists on Wednesday.Five policemen, including a sub-inspector, were also injured as BJD workers resorted to stone pelting. All the injured have been admitted to a local hospital.Sources said thousands of Congress activists led by DCC president Srinath Mishra were taking out a rally to storm the Binjharpur block office, protesting rampant corruption in the district.When the rally was about to reach the block office, some BJD supporters started pelting stones at the Congress workers, leaving 15 of them injured. When police resorted to lathicharge to control the mob, stones were also lobbed at them.Senior Congress leader Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra, AICC member Babita Malik and block Congress president Jagannath Dhal took part in the rally.
