HYDERABAD: The 30th All-India Police Equestrian Championship and Mounted Police Duty Meet, being organised by the All India Police Sports Control Board, began at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy at Shivarampally on Saturday.Fifteen teams with 211 horses and 300 trained police officers from various states are participating in the eightday event. Chief minister, N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who inaugurated the meet, called upon policemen to continuously hone up their skills also in the fields of sports and games.
