Counterfeit notes: Three remanded

The three accused  arrested from Chullimanoor by Nedumangad police in connection with the seizure of counterfeit currency were remanded to judicial custody.

Nedumangad  DySP Mohammad Shafi said  first accused  Sreenivasan (40)  of Ambalathuvilakam, Enikkara, second accused Nazir alias Stephen (35) of Lakshamveedu colony, Chullimanoor, his second wife Rema (38) were the  the three remanded. Notes worth Rs 59370 were seized from their houses along with printing material. The currency notes of 500, 100, and 10 denominations were seized.
