HYDERABAD: Senior IPS officer Umesh Kumar's petition seeking amendment of his writ prayer requesting the CBI to inquire into the assets of Director General of Police V Dinesh Reddy, his wife, and two persons, believed to be his benamis, Y Ravi Prasad and A Krishna Reddy, was allowed by the High Court Tuesday. Ravi Prasad and A Krishna Reddy are said to have 542 property transactions between them. High Court judge Ramesh Ranganadhan allowed the amendment petition. The case will be taken up for hearing after two weeks.
