High Court has barred him from leaving the country and meeting witnesses.

New Delhi: Former Commonwealth Games Organising Committee deputy director Sanjay Mohindroo, a close aide of Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi, has been granted bail by the Delhi High Court.

The court granted bail to Mohindroo in the Queen's Baton Relay scam case on conditions of not leaving the country and not meeting witnesses.

Mohindroo is a suspect in the AM Films deal for cars during the Queen's Baton Relay.

He was granted bail after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) failed to file a chargesheet within the stipulated 60 days of arresting him in the case.

A chargesheet in a criminal case has to be filed within 60 days of the arrest of the accused or the accused is entitled to bail.

Another Kalmadi aide and former official of the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee, TS Darbari, was granted bail in the same case on Friday.
