BANGALORE: Taking yet another U-turn, former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa who was prepared to sit on a dharna two days ago in support of Anna Hazare, has said that the Lokpal Bill was not a subject to be decided by those on the streets.“I support Hazare’s cause.But Lokpal Bill is something that needs to be debated and decided in Parliament and not on the streets,” Yeddyurappa said while taking an indirect swipe at those sitting on a dharna at the Freedom Park supporting Anna.On charges of corruption against him, Yeddyurappa expressed confidence of coming out clean. “I will continue my legal fight and I am confident of being successful,” he said.Referring to his resignation as the CM, Yeddyurappa said that he had resigned following the party high command’s decision. However, it is a temporary phase, he retorted He also announced that he would embark on state tour by this month end to build the party.Meanwhile, Excise Minister MP Renukacharya accused former prime minister H D Devegowda of masterminding Yeddyurappa’s exit as the chief minister.“It is a conspiracy hatched by Gowda and others.
