Delhi: AAP to decide on Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav at party meet
"Future of the dissident leaders of the party, Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan, will be decided in the meeting," said some volunteers of the party.

New Delhi: The political affairs committee of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is likely to hold a meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday evening, said party volunteers.

"Future of the dissident leaders of the party, Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan, will be decided in the meeting," said some volunteers of the party.

Dissident AAP leaders Yadav and Bhushan will also address the media persons at 4 p.m.

A source in the AAP said, "Both the rebel leaders, Yadav and Bhushan, may be expelled from the party after any such decision in the meeting."

Earlier on Tuesday, Yadav and Bhushan organised 'Swaraj Samvad' a dialogue on the present and future of alternative politics, in Gurgaon.

The programme was skipped by a section of AAP rebel leaders and prominent personalities like Admiral L. Ramdas, who was recently removed as AAP's internal Lokpal, AAP's Patiala MP Dharamvira Gandhi, former party leader Christina Samy, and social activists Aruna Roy and Medha Patkar, among others.

The event was described as an effort to break the Aam Aadmi Party by leaders close to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Ahead of the meeting, Yadav said it was a "day for new beginning" and the meeting was a "dialogue on alternative politics".

"This meeting is a dialogue on alternative politics and I am sure we will witness something new here (meeting)," Yadav said, adding that "the AAP constitution gives an ordinary party member freedom of speech and expression which no other party gives".

Yadav said: "If workers are using this freedom given to them by the party's constitution, I am sure the party would respect it."
