HYDERABAD: The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has threatened to further intensify Sakala Janula Samme if the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre fails to take an immediate decision on separate T. Participating in a torch procession organised by the TJAC from the AP Bhavan to India Gate in Delhi on Saturday, M Kodandaram said if the Congress high command further delayed announcement of T it would result in unrest in Telangana region. “Telangana people are not ready to believe in committees and commissions constituted by the UPA Government. It should immediately announce formation of separate Telangana state,” the TJAC chairman said. He hailed Komatireddy Venkata Reddy’s action of quitting as an MLA and minister for the Telangana cause. If anyone takes part in the T movement selflessly, he gets the support of people of the region. He urged all the Congress and TDP MPs and MLAs to quit their posts and join the Telangana movement to bring pressure on the Union government. Meanwhile, TRS leader BV Vinod Kumar who is in Delhi, said the political developments in the national capital indicated that a decision on Telangana might be taken soon. “Things have begun happening. Azad had submitted his report to the Congress core committee. Today also a mini core committee met and discussed the Telangana issue,” he said.
