Educational aid for poor kids

KOCHI: Union Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies, K V Thomas handed over a cheque of  Rs. 6,50,000 for educational assistance for children from economically weaker sections. The cheque was a part of the project taken up by the Rajagiri outreach. Under the project 375 students were given educational assistance for a year.  The beneficiaries included students from tribal families and children of farmers.
