Fight over petty issue ends In suicide

BANGALORE: A 25-year-old housewife committed suicide by hanging at her house in Nandini Layout police station limits on Wednesday night.The deceased has been identified as Shanthi, wife of Anand, a garment factory employee. On Wednesday night, the couple had a fight over trivial issue, which provoked Shanthi to take this extreme step.Engineer found deadA 30-year-old civil engineer was found dead at his residence in Nandini Layout police station limits.The deceased has been identified as Lathish, a resident of Jai Maruthi Nagar and a native of Sakaleshpura.His wife Shwetha had gone to her parents’ house three days ago. On returning, she found her husband lying dead on the bed. Police speculate that pesticides sprayed inside the house might have caused Lathish’s death, as he had slept with the windows and door closed.Murder case solvedThe Jnanabharathi police have reportedly solved the murder case of Prathap alias Arun (24) by arresting six accused. The victim and Rajesh, one of the accused were rivals, police said.
