Flop elsewhere too, except in Kadapa

HYDERABAD:  The bandh call given by YSRC to protest the arrest of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy evoked mixed response in the state on Monday. While the bandh was negligible in Telangana and partial in Rayalaseema, it had little impact in coastal Andhra.At several places, YSRCP cadre staged protests and rasta roko though the police clamped prohibitory orders in Hyderabad and other sensitive areas across the state as a preventive measure. Many leaders and activists were arrested. Token protests were organised in parts of Telangana.Ex ministers Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Balineni Srinivasa Reddy were detained for a brief time and later released.
