Former executive member of ACA found dead

GUNTUR: T Venugopala Rao (53), advocate and former executive member of the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) and presently one of the vice-presidents of the Guntur District Cricket Association was found dead near the staircase of his apartment at Krishnanagar here on Friday.It is learnt that Venugopala Rao attended the victory celebrations of Andhra Cricket Association at a resort in Tadepalli on Thursday and reached his apartment late night. It is believed that he fell down from the steps.The servant maid noticed him in the morning and informed his family, they immediately rushed him to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.Pattabhipuram police registered a case of death under suspicious circumstances.Meanwhile Andhra Cricket Association condoled the death of Venugopala Rao.They recalled his services as a member of the legal subcommittee of the Andhra Cricket Association.
