BANGALORE: Al-Ameen Educational Society Bangalore recently celebrated the 45th year of Founders Day. Dr Siddalinga Swamy, president, Sree Siddaganga Education Society, Tumkur, presided over the function as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he praised Dr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, founder & chairman , Al-Ameen educational Society, for his farsightedness, hard work and dedication which has resulted in the establishment of 20 branches and 174 educational institutions, providing good education to more than 4,5000 students coming from the weaker sections of the community. On this occasion, Al-Ameen Educational Society also presented the best teacher award for their excellence in providing quality education. Many special awards are also announced to mark this year's celebrations in order to recognise and honour those who have contributed to the development of society in various ways.
