Haryana Police Stop Blue-Beacon Car, Woman's Lie on 'CM's Flying Squad' Leads to Three Arrests
Three men have been arrested for posing as Chief Minister’s Flying Squad, raiding medical stores, and extorting money across several districts of Haryana

Police have arrested three members of a gang for raiding medical stores across several districts of Haryana by posing as Chief Minister’s Flying Squad. The team involved two women. They had also arranged blue beacons and two vehicles for conducting their raids.

The fake flying squad raided medical stores in several districts including Dadri, Barda, Bhiwani and Rewari and extorted lakhs of rupees by threatening to seal their shop. Apart from the CCTV footage of the action taken by the fake team in Dadri’s Sanwar village and Bard, a viral video has also exposed their faces. The special team of police has arrested three members of the gang. The police have started questioning the three by taking them on a two-day remand.

Speaking about the case, DSP Headquarters Dheeraj Kumar said, “On August 16, Satish, a resident of Sanwar village, had lodged a complaint at Bond Kalan police station saying that he has been running a medical store for 24 years. On August 16, two vehicles stopped at his shop. There was blue beacon light on one of the cars. Six people, wearing masks got off the vehicle and posed to be members of the Chief Minister’s Flying Squad. They threatened to seal the shop and extorted Rs 27,000 for the shop owner. Samples of several medicines were also taken away by them.”

The DSP said that the Crime Investigation Agency police team conducted a raid at Mokhra village of Rohtak district and arrested three members of the fake flying team. The accused have been identified as Naveen alias Monu, resident of Mokhra, Sahil, a resident of Farman Khas, and Ankit, resident of Mundhal Khurd.

Following interrogation, the accused have confessed to six incidents, including Sanwar and Barda in Charkhi Dadri district, Kosli in Rewari district, Bahu in Jhajjar district, Lakhan Majra in Rohtak district and Mundhal in Bhiwani district. The accused were produced before the Charkhi Dadri court and sent on remand for two-days. They are also questioning the women and the other companion involved in the extortion exercise.
