BANGALORE: The High Court on Tuesday adjourned till Wednesday the anticipatory bail pleas filed by former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and his wife Anita Kumaraswamy, in connection with the summons issued against them by the special Lokayukta court in two cases of corruption. A single bench headed by Justice L Narayana Swamy issued notice to Lokayukta police on the petitions. “I cannot pass any order without hearing the prosecution,” the judge responded when the counsel for the couple submitted that there is a likelihood of Kumaraswamy being issued an arrest warrant. Meanwhile, the HC on Tuesday adjourned the criminal petition filed by Kumaraswamy and his wife Anita Kumaraswamy praying to quash the lower court’s proceedings against them following a private complaint filed before the Lokayukta special court to Thursday.
