HC seeks parking space at LH

BANGALORE: The High Court on Thursday directed the State Government to explore the possibilities of parking facilities for its employees at Legislators’ House (LH) in fifteen days.The government withdrew its application after finding it that the proposed parking facilities, to be set up in Legislators House, did not come under the Cubbon Park jurisdiction and hence there was no need too seek the court’s permission.  The government had filed an affidavit seeking permission to cut at least 29 fully grown tress to construct a multi-level parking facility.
