Your Steam ID is your account's unique identifier consisting of 17 digits. You may need this number if you need to contact Steam Support. Luckily, it's easy to find. Here's how to find your Steam ID using your Windows or Mac computer.
Launch the Steam app. Steam is available to download on Windows, Mac, and Linux. If you aren't already logged into your account, enter your username and password to do so now. You can change your password if needed. If you're using a mobile device, you can go to https://store.steampowered.com/login/ in a mobile browser and log in.
Click your username. This is in the top-right corner. A drop-down menu will open.
Click Account details. This is the second option. A new page will open.
Find your Steam ID at the top. This is underneath the Account header. The Steam ID is your account's unique identifier. This is different from your profile name, which can be changed on your profile page. Your Steam ID and account name cannot be changed.
