KOCHI: mv Logos Hope, the world's largest floating book fair, reached Kochi on Wednesday. The ship will be berthed in Kochi till June 21. The public can visit the book fair on board during its three-week stay at the North Coal berth in Willingdon Island.  Spread across an area of 610 sq m, this unique bookshop offers public the opportunity to buy books on a wide range of subjects. Entry for children under 16 years is free but they must be accompanied by an adult. The ship also has an international cafe with a seating capacity for 800 where the visitors can meet and interact with the crew and watch interactive displays for children and family. It will be open to the public after a formal inaugural function at 10.30 am on Thursday. Mayor Tony Chammany will inaugurate Logos Hope's Kochi visit. The public can visit the ship between 10 am and 8 pm from Tuesday to Saturday, and from 2 pm to 8 pm on Sunday and Monday. Entry fee is Rs 50.
