HTC One with Windows Phone 8 rumoured to be launched this fall: Report

New Delhi: With the view to capitalise on the success of its HTC One smartphone, HTC is reportedly planning to launch the HTC One handset running Windows Phone 8 OS. According to a report from Neowin, the handset running Windows Phone 8 will not be a simple rehash, it will instead look identical to the original HTC One.

Reportedly, the device will have a screen-size between 4-inch and 5-inch, metal body and Beats Audio technology. It is believed that HTC may use its UltrPixel technology for the phone's camera.

The rumoured handset is expected to be announced this fall. If the phone comes, it will not be the first variant of the HTC One smartphone. The first variant of the HTC One is the HTC One Nexus edition (that runs stock Android), which the company had announced last month.
