HYDERABAD: Yet another software firm downed its shutters duping more than 140 employees to the tune of over Rs 2 crore. Nearly 15 employees of Infotech Systems Company approached the city police alleging that they were duped by the firm's managing director, Kiran.According to the duped job holders and police, Kiran started the firm three months back in the fourth floor of SVR Towers in Srinagar colony. Kiran started recruiting B Tech and MCA graduates by collecting money between Rs 60,000 to Rs 1 lakh promising them training as well as live project experience. Nearly 140 aspirants joined the firm but they were neither given training nor made to work in projects. Some of them even joined through agents. To avoid suspicion from the job holders about the firm, Kiran distributed sweets to his employees on a couple of occasions and proudly announced that the firm has bagged a new project.Kiran, however, stopped coming to office since the past one week which made the employees suspect foul play as their efforts to contact him went in vain. Finally, nearly 15 employees on Monday lodged a complaint with the police about the missing boss.No case has been registered by the police yet.
