Imtiaz Ali, the bridegroom

Imtiaz Ali had a taste of being on the other side of the camera. The Love Aaj Kal director enacted the role of a groom who had been kidnapped as part of the innovative unveiling of Sushil Rajpal’s Antardwand.

The film has bagged accolades on the festival circuit and deals with groom kidnapping in Bihar.

Imtiaz arrived in a jeans and tee but put on a sherwani to essay the character. He was tied to a chair with ropes! Wonder what the stars of his movies have to say about this role of his!
