BELGAUM: Deputy Commandant A C Kunnihal, who was attached to the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), was killed on the spot when a grenade exploded accidentally at the Savagaon Military Training Centre here on Thursday.Officials sources said that the explosion occurred during a training session at the centre’s firing ground. It was reported that two other officers were also injured in the incident.Kunnihal was from Chandigarh. Police officials said that a case has been registered at the rural police station in this regard.
