BANGALORE: Citing total failure of governance as reason, the JD(S) plans to urge Governor H R Bhardwaj on Sunday to take Constitutional steps to dismiss the BJP government.“The choice of a new leader (of the BJP) may be an internal affair, but that does not mean the state should suffer in the absence of governance. We would like to emphasise this aspect with the Governor when we plan to meet him on Sunday,” JD(S) general secretary Y S V Datta told Express.Datta claimed that though the Janata Pariwar too suffered from internal troubles when in power, the governance, however, had not suffered. But the BJP’s inability to deal with its problems had proved to be costly to the general administration. “We want the Governor to intervene if the ruling party does not bring at least a semblance of governance by Sunday noon,” Datta added.
