Korean student attacked in Puri

PURI: A youth was arrested for allegedly assaulting a South Korean national near Jagannath Temple here on Saturday.Kang Yonggu (20) from Seoul, studying international trade in Inha University, was taking photographs outside the south gate of the 12th century shrine when he was attacked allegedly by Amit Sahu (24).Sahu, a resident of Loknath Road area in the Pilgrim Town, appeared to be mentally unstable, police said, adding that further investigation is on.  FOREIGNERS SEEK ENTRY: Around 20 nationals of France, Canada and Italy squatted in front of Jagannath Temple on Saturday seeking entry into the temple.They called off the agitation after police and locals intervened and explained the tradition to them.
