Lovers attempt suicide

HYDERABAD: A couple who fell in love, attempted suicide by consuming pesticide in Keesara on Tuesday when their parents rejected their marriage proposal.Police said, Manogna (20) fell in love with Arun (23) of Mallapur, but their parents refused for their marriage proposal. Upset over the refusal, the lovers decided to end their lives.They went to a nearby place on Tuesday and consumed pesticide, inspector G Jagan said. Later, the lovers informed thier friends over phone, who took them to Gandhi Hospital. Their condition is said to be stable.
