A 35-year-old maid, who was working in the retired Customs and Central Excise inspector’s house, was found murdered here on Wednesday in Sivarampally.
According to police, the victim had been identified as Manasa, native of Warangal.
She had been working as a maid in the house of the retired Customs and Central Excise inspector Raja Rao, since last few years.
Raja Rao has been staying alone in his house after his wife’s death.
Police said that Manasa had deserted her husband and her two children.
Sirampally inspector Uma Maheswar Rao said that Raja Rao’s son took him to his house located in Banjara Hills after Raja Rao suffered chronic diseases.
Since then, Manasa was staying alone in the house.
Around 12 noon on Wednesday, locals noticed the screams of Manasa from the house and they rushed into the house.
After finding her in a pool of blood locals alerted the police.
Police informed the 108 emergency medical service and she was shifted to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.
“The victim died due to serious stab injuries as a few unidentified persons stabbed her several times in the stomach and fled away,’’ the inspector said.
There was no property loss
