BANGALORE: It was a time of fun and frolic for more than 200 children as the most popular Nickelodeon’s toon character ‘Sponge Bob Square Pants’ donned at the Sri Garuda Swagath ongoing fest.Noted Sandalwood actress Harshika Poonacha and former Miss India 2004, Viewer’s Choice Shrutha Keerthi and her daughter were present at the inaugural ceremony too. The lovely ladies made merry with the kids and danced to the tunes of the music played. The toon character Sponge Bob Square Pants is a very famous one among the kids today.The popular television series exploits the adventures of Sponge Bob Square Pants and his various friends in the underwater city of ‘Bikini Bottom’. Today, Sponge Bob is a rage in India and across the globe with fans in kids and adults alike. This character entertained the kids on December 11 too.On December 18 and 19, another famous toon character ‘Dora the Explorer’ will be present at the mall to entertain kids. The festival at Sri Garuda Swagath mall began on December 3 and it will continue to rock the city till January 1, 2012.It’s not just this but the shoppers will have more reasons to celebrate and shop at the Garuda mall. One lucky shopper gets to win a cell phone worth Rs 10,000-everyday and one lucky winner will get to win a bumper prize of Maruti Alto during this fest.
