Man arrested for money fraud

KOCHI: The Central Police arrested a person in  connection with money fraud case in Kochi on Friday. The arrested is James M, hailing from Kannur, who allegedly cheated people by promising them gold in bulk at cheap rate.James, the second accused in the case, took Rs 75,000  from Saneeb, a native from Kochi, in exchange for gold, but later went absconding.The arrested was presented before the Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate and remanded in  judicial custody.  The first accused is still absconding.
