BANGALORE: Financial disputes have allegedly led to the kidnap of a person by his friends in Chennammana Kere Acchukattu police limits. Manish (30) is the person kidnapped and the abductors have demanded a ransom of `5 lakh for his release.
According to the police, Manish, a native of West Bengal, who runs a data entry office behind Janata Bazaar in Katriguppe is the kidnapped person. His wife filed a missing complaint as he did not return home on Tuesday night after office hours. On Wednesday morning, the kidnappers called her and demanded a ransom of `5 lakh for the safe release of her husband.Later, she informed the police about the phone calls and filed a kidnap case.

The murder was revealed when J P Nagar police picked up a person on charges of intention to carry out dacoity.
