Arun Kumar Barnwal (52) died when the truck overturned after colliding with a tree on the Varanasi-Bhadoi road in the Kapsethi area, they said.
The injured have been admitted to hospital. The mishap took place when Arun was returning after cremating his mother in Varanasi, they said.
