The CPI(M) joined the protests at Maruti's corporate office in New Delhi on Monday.
New Delhi: The strike at Maruti's Manesar plant entered its twelfth day on Tuesday. The management and workers are expected to meet for a round of talks, in a bid to end the deadlock.
The Haryana government is still trying to broker peace.
The CPI(M) joined the protests at Maruti's corporate office in New Delhi on Monday in a show of support for the striking workers. Around 60 students were also part of this protest.
The workers want 44 permanent employees and 1200 casual workers to be reinstated without any inquiry, something that Maruti refused to do.
