Mass protest against N-plant on November 5

TIRUNELVELI: The People’s Movement Against Nuclear Energy (PMANE) on Tuesday announced that a mass protest would be held in Tirunelveli City on November 5, against the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Project.PMANE Tirunelveli district in-charge Lena Kumar told reporters here that in support of the relay fast against the project in Idinthakarai, the mass demonstration would be held near the Palayamkottai Bus Stand on Saturday morning. All supporters, who would not be able to come to the protest venue, could stage a one-day token fast with their families in their houses and register their opinions through SMS over 9443486285 and 9443450150, Lena Kumar said.
