Medicos hold token strike

KOTTAYAM: Medical students, under the joint action council of Kottayam Medical College, observed a token strike on Thursday in protest against the bond system introduced by the government. PG super-speciality students, resident doctors, house surgeons and MBBS students were among those who participated in the 24-hour strike, which saw them boycotting the casualty and labour room services.The joint action council organised a dharna in front of the principal’s office.
