Minor girl raped, dumped on roadside

BALARAMAPURAM: A minor girl was raped and dumped on the roadside near here the other day.  Police said that a 15-year-old girl was kidnapped on way to school and dumped on the roadside, near Amaravila check-post, on Thursday. The girl is said to be mentally unsound. “The girl is not in a stable state of mind after the incident. There are contradictions in whatever she says. So, we could not collect relevant information about the accused. The investigation has started,” said Neyyatinkara Circle Inspector B S Sajimon. The police had started investigations after the parents filed a complaint with the Balaramapuram police station that the girl did not return from school on Thursday. Later she was found near Amaravila check-post.
