KOCHI: To prevent the spread of contagious diseases among migrant workers during the monsoon, the Kochi Corporation has launched a mobile healthcare unit. The unit will visit major construction sites in the city in the next 15 days and conduct free medical camp for the migrant labourers.The first such camp was organised at the Puravankara Flat Construction site on Goshree Road on Saturday. “The mobile unit was launched under the pre-monsoon hygiene programme ‘Mazhayethum Munpe’.
