Murdered prof's son may join Cong
It seems that the Congress is trying to use Professor Sabharwal's murder as a political tool against the BJP.

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Congress's bandh call protesting Professor Sabharwal's murder was a success in Ujjain, but as senior party leaders reached Madhya Pradesh, it was clear that the party was trying to use the murder as a political plank against the ruling BJP.

This was evident when AICC General Secretary, Digvijay Singh, said, "The Congress will stand by the Sabharwal family in this difficult time."

This statement and Professor Sabharwal's murder has had another effect that was totally unexpected.

After the initial outburst, Himanshu has visibly calmed down. He has the sympathy of the nation with him and he now wants a CBI enquiry - and who better to help him than the Congress?

"I will do whatever it takes to get justice," he says.

And if Himanshu indeed joins the Congress, the party's hijack of the Sabharwal murder will be complete.

Congress is trying to fuel the anti-incumbency sentiments against the ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh and Himanshu Sabharwal seems to be just the right tool.
