The Congress nominee in lieu of Hassan will be nominated soon.The meet also put a bar on all public statements or  debates by leaders of UDF constituents until the panel submitted its report. Briefing mediapersons, UDF convenor P P Thankachan said the committee had been asked to file its report at the earliest. The panel will hold its sitting here on August 24 in which all, including MLAs, can submit their opinion.He said that the proclaimed policy of the UDF Government was that all proven encroachments on revenue and forest land should be evicted. ‘’There are attempts to politicise the Nelliampathy issue. It should end,’’he said. He had requested Hassan to withdraw his resignation twice, but the latter had refused to budge.The sub-committee’s report will be filed before  the UDF liaison committee. “Anyone can air their views before the liaison committee also, which will also be duly considered while framing the final report to be submitted to the government.“The committee will look into both the nature of lease and alleged violation of clauses of the lease agreements of estates”, he said.   “There is no urgency since the lease period of estates in Nelliyampathy has not ended.
