New Judge for Karnataka High Court

BANGALORE: Justice Vikramjit Sen was on Monday sworn in as the senior most judge of the Karnataka High Court. He is likely to take over as Chief Justice later. The oath of office was administered by outgoing Chief Justice Jagjit Singh Khehar,  who has been elevated to the Supreme Court. Later in the evening, Justice Khehar was accorded a warm farewell by the Bar Council. Justice Sen has practised in all courts in Delhi and has handled civil, arbitration and commercial disputes, with a special interest in minority rights.
