Nita Ambani invited to join board of visitors at MD Anderson Cancer Centre
The MD Anderson Cancer Centre has collaborated with the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, newly renovated by the Reliance Foundation, making it one of the most state-of-the-art hospitals in Mumbai.

Mumbai: Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani was on Thursday invited to join the board of visitors of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre.

MD Anderson Cancer Centre is widely acclaimed as a premier cancer centre, with a commitment to rapidly translate scientific knowledge into better cancer therapies and prevention strategies.

While inviting her to join the board Melvyn N Klein, chairman of Anderson Cancer Centre said, "By giving your time, talents and treasure you will help advance the institute's mission to eliminate cancer, and ultimately make a significant difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families."

The MD Anderson Cancer Centre has collaborated with the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, newly renovated by the Reliance Foundation, making it one of the most state-of-the-art hospitals in Mumbai. The hospital also has Oncology as a thrust area. The hospital has been newly provided with the latest equipment to detect and cure cancer, coupled with nuclear medicine, to treat cancer patients quickly and with reduced pain.
