CHENNAI: Asserting that her party-led UPA government at the Centre would complete its full term, Union Environment Minister Jayanthi Natarajan on Thursday ruled out any scope for a mid-term poll for the Lok Sabha against the backdrop of Congress’s dismal performance in the Assembly polls.Speaking to reporters here, Jayanthi Natarajan said the Manmohan Singh government would complete its term and wanted Opposition parties to “not nurture hopes” of destabilising it.“There is no question of a mid-term poll. The Union Government will last its full term,” she said. She also said the party had done well in elections in two States —Uttarakhand and Manipur.
